Company Background
Red Tiger was founded on the Isle of Man in 2014 and quickly built a large catalogue of online slots. In 2019, NetEnt acquired Red Tiger in a deal worth up to £220 million. When Evolution completed its acquisition of NetEnt in 2020, Red Tiger became part of the Evolution group, alongside Big Time Gaming and Nolimit City. It continues to release games under its own name.
What Red Tiger Is Known For
Daily Drop Jackpots
Red Tiger's best-known feature is its Daily Drop jackpot system. These are progressive jackpots designed to be won before a set time each day, so one is guaranteed to drop daily. Some games also include hourly jackpots that must drop within an hour.
As explained in our Progressive Jackpots Explained guide, a "must drop" jackpot is guaranteed to be won by someone before its deadline, so the chance of it dropping on any particular bet rises as the deadline approaches. Even so, it could be won on any of the many bets placed by all players on the network, so there is no way to know whether it will land on yours.
Megaways Games
Red Tiger has released many Megaways games under licence from Big Time Gaming, including Megaways versions of popular titles such as Gonzo's Quest Megaways and Blood Suckers Megaways. These games have their own rules and figures, separate from the originals. See Megaways Slots Explained.
A Large and Varied Catalogue
Red Tiger produces a wide range of games, from classic-style slots to feature-rich titles, with volatility ranging from low-medium to extreme. See Slot Volatility Explained.
Red Tiger Games We Review
We do not currently review individual Red Tiger games. Our Gonzo's Quest review covers the original NetEnt game, rather than Red Tiger's Gonzo's Quest Megaways version. Browse all titles in our Slot Game Reviews.
RTP and Volatility
Red Tiger slots typically publish RTPs of around 95% to 96.5%, although some games fall outside that range. The same game can also differ between versions, and games linked to Daily Drop jackpots usually have a lower base-game return because part of each bet funds the jackpots. Always check the RTP shown in the game's information screen. See Pokies RTP Explained.
Licensing and Testing
Red Tiger holds licences from regulators including the UK Gambling Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority and Gibraltar's gambling regulator. Its games are certified for each market in which they are offered. See Slot RNG Explained.
In Australia, it is illegal for companies to offer online casino games, including online pokies, to people in Australia under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.

Playing Responsibly
A jackpot that "must drop" today can feel like a reason to keep playing, but your chance of winning it on any one bet remains small. If you choose to play, set a budget and time limit before you start, and stop when you reach them.
